Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich, a dreaming shopping boulevard for women

For women, whether European women or Chinese women, Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich may be the most joyable place to visit,  some place you cannot resist to. Legend suggested that, in the 1990s, some rich American ladies flied by private jet accrossing the Atlantic to come to this street only for doing some shopping.

I have no means to check the authencity of this story. But it doen't matter. What really does  matter is tha this boulevard is truelly very charming and attractive. There is always a big crowd of shoppers during the weekend, especially when weather is good.

I can spend hours and  hours in this large and beautiful and busy street,  just walking, just looking at those people, just enjoying the special atmosphere.

Being here is already a big joy.

And I can always meet some Chinese people,  tourists, or officials or business on mission.

"Whereas there is a good thing, you can find many Chinese people."  said to me one of my Belgian friend.  She is obviously right.

Zurich, Swiss' Shanghai

Yesterday, I went to Zurich again for tourism and relax. In China, we have Shanghai, and in Switzerland, they have Zurich.  The place of Zurich in Switzerland is similar to that of Shanghai playing in China's financial life. Zurich is the biggest Swiss metropolis  and the financial hub.  There are onlu and just approximately 360,000 residents in this city, hardly comparable with eighteen millions of  citizens in Shanghai.

Zurich is at the same old and modern.  Really beautiful, peaceful, quite. And on the other hand, very dynamic and warm  also.

Since many years ago until up to now,  Zurich and Geneva have been selected as the most suitable place for human being to live all over the world.  It is not an accident nor a coincidence.  Zurich is really wirthy the honor and merits. Every one who puts their feet on this city will be immediately, during the first minutes, attracted by this city and by its people.  You cannot simply resist to its charms.

I spent the whole day in walking and photographing in the downtown, alongside the lake.

my first day as a blogger

today is my first day for me as a blooger. This will become my new signature, my new identity, my new me. This is not easy as it may seem on apparence. I was reluctant to register on any social networking site in the long past. I didn't trust in them after having heard and read too many bad stories in this regard.

But finally, I've crossed this line and become a pround of a new blogger. Anyway, we have to join into this digital club in this digital time where we are living. I don't want to be separated from the big majority by a "digital gap ".

I will see what will happen after this first step. Hope everything would be fine.

Tomorrow is another day.
