Please practice English and make progress together

I've receivd som e-mails from some of my readers. I thank you for your kind attention and warm and friendly remarks. I am really flattered.




However, I hate to say this, but I have to remind you of my intention that I prefer exchanging with you either in English or French. Please don't make any mistake here: the reason is not that I prefer foreign languages rather than y mother tongue, because I have no option. I am following my sophomore university studying both in French and English. As you may now, Geneva is a French-speaking metropolis. And the teaching language is French. I am learning English by myself. I need to make use of every opportunit to practice and improve my English. Otherwise, I will always have to say with a red face: I beg you pardon? Excuse me, my English is poor.

In the past, I used to say those above sentences. And I hate to do it.

Please practice English together and make progress together.

Since my first day after having put my feet on the Swiss land,  I immediately began to love this small but beautiful country.  There are many high mountains, Alps chain and Jura chain.  Switzerland has the best ski pistes in the world.  It has the most suitable and comfortable cities which can provide the highest quality of living for its residents: Zurich, Geneva and Bern.  These cities are regarded as the best ones around the world, not because they are ultra-modern and large, in fact, there are virtually no ultra-modern skyscrappers in these metropolis; but thanks to the quality of life, environment,  the safety, the beautiful lakes.

Nowadays, more and more Chinese nouveau riches are beginning to discover the beauty of this county and come here for tourism, business, and receive the beauty treatment.
